We make our first incursion into Munster with ‘The Pull’ this weekend – and we don’t pull out easily.
Friday night we’re in Na Piarsaigh GAA club, Caherdavin, Co. Limerick. For one of us – Liam Horan – this will be a big trip, as his uncle Con is a former chairman of Na Piarsaigh. Plus Liam’s brother Maurice plays his club football with Na Piarsaigh, when he’s not busy managing Limerick senior footballers. And, best of all, Liam once won the Na Piarsaigh Lotto when it stood at just under €2,000. The rest of us won’t have to put our hand in our pocket at all Friday night.
On Saturday night, we’re off to the Firgrove Hotel in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, where we will be hosted by Ballygiblin GAA club. A big thanks to Mike Herlihy for bringing us there.
Sunday night, the road trip concludes with a visit to the Marian Hall in Ballinhassig, Co. Cork, where we are guests of Ballinhassig GAA club.
Friday and Saturday night are both 8pm. Sunday night is 7pm. More on The Pull HERE
